AYCE Asian BBQ & Hot Pots Restaurant Server Responsibilities

  • Greet guests promptly with a friendly smile at their table and guide them to the order process on the eMenu tablet.
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
  • Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns promptly, and provide personalized service.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately using POS systems, ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including bussing tables and assisting in food preparation when needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues quickly.
  • Promote additional sales through suggestive selling techniques while respecting guest preferences.
  • Assist with opening or closing duties as assigned, including setting up stations or cleaning work areas thoroughly.
  • Uphold guest relations by creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews.

AYCE Asian BBQ & Hot Pots Restaurant Server Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with POS systems or OpenTable for order entry and transaction processing.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
  • Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing procedures.
  • Ability to upsell menu items confidently while respecting guest preferences.
  • Experience in serving, bussing tables, or host/host roles is desirable for a well-rounded skill set.
  • Knowledge of the food industry trends and hospitality best practices will be advantageous.
