Job Title: Ayurveda Doctor - Wellness Manager

Location: Bodrum, Turkey

Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site


Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Guest Care

  • Conduct detailed Ayurvedic consultations, pulse diagnosis (Nadi Pariksha), and create personalized wellness programs.
  • Prescribe Ayurvedic therapies, diet, herbal supplements, and lifestyle recommendations.
  • Oversee Panchakarma and other detox or rejuvenation programs to ensure authenticity and safety.
  • Educate guests on holistic living, preventive health, and mindful lifestyle practices.


Operational Management

  • Supervise daily wellness center operations, ensuring smooth coordination between departments (spa, therapies, kitchen, housekeeping, and guest relations).
  • Manage wellness schedules, therapist assignments, and guest flow for optimal efficiency.
  • Maintain high service and hygiene standards across all treatment areas.
  • Support the marketing and sales team in developing wellness packages and program content.


Team Leadership & Training

  • Train wellness and spa teams on Ayurvedic principles, service protocols, and guest communication.
  • Conduct regular briefings and ensure a positive, collaborative team culture.
  • Evaluate therapist performance and encourage continuous professional growth.


Program Development & Innovation

  • Contribute to the design of new wellness programs integrating Ayurveda, yoga, nutrition, and modern therapies.
  • Collaborate with chefs and nutritionists on Ayurvedic wellness menus.
  • Participate in workshops, retreats, and special events as a wellness expert.


Qualifications & Skills

  • BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery) or equivalent degree.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Ayurveda practice, preferably in luxury spa, resort, or clinical wellness setting.
  • Strong understanding of Panchakarma, detox, and lifestyle correction therapies.
  • Experience managing wellness operations or leading a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Fluent in English (additional language skills like Turkish or Arabic are a plus).
