Ayurveda Therapist

Clinical & Therapy Responsibilities

• Perform Panchakarma therapies as prescribed by the Ayurvedic doctor, including:

o Abhyanga

o Shirodhara

o Pizhichil

o Njavarakizhi

o Podikizhi

o Nadi Sweda

o Bashpa Sweda

o Kati Basti, Greeva Basti, Janu Basti

o Lepana and Upanaha

• Assist in Purva Karma, Pradhana Karma, and Paschat Karma procedures

• Prepare therapy materials such as oils, kashayas, choornas, pottalis, and steam equipment

• Ensure correct temperature, pressure, posture, and duration during treatments

• Monitor patient comfort during therapy and immediately report any discomfort or adverse response to the doctor

Patient Care & Communication

• Communicate politely and clearly with patients

• Explain basic therapy procedures and post-therapy care in simple terms

• Must be able to speak basic english(understanding patient needs and instructions)

• Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times

Hygiene & Safety Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and therapy room cleanliness

• Sterilize and maintain therapy equipment, linens, and tools

• Follow hospital infection control protocols and safety guidelines

• Ensure proper disposal of waste and used materials

Documentation & Team Coordination

• Maintain therapy records and daily treatment logs

• Follow SOPs and clinical protocols strictly

• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other therapists for smooth patient care

• Be open to learning advanced Panchakarma procedures and hospital protocols.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
