B2B Sales Manager | Marketing Agency

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven ability to generate pipeline independently, including cold outreach, prospecting, and self-sourced lead generation in environments with limited or evolving marketing support.
  • Strong discovery and qualification skills, with the ability to clearly identify buyer pain points, decision criteria, and deal blockers throughout the sales cycle.
  • Experience selling without established playbooks, including the ability to structure outreach, messaging, and follow-up without relying on prebuilt scripts or sequences.
  • Full-cycle sales capability, managing the process from first contact through negotiation and close, with demonstrated success meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to provide clear, actionable feedback, translating prospect conversations into insights that inform positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy.
  • High level of ownership and accountability, maintaining pipeline momentum and results regardless of lead volume or external constraints.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, early-stage environments, adapting quickly as processes, messaging, and priorities evolve.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, including consistent CRM usage and disciplined follow-up.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in early-stage companies or newly built sales/marketing functions
  • Background in SMB or mid-market sales
  • Familiarity with outbound sales tools and CRM systems
