About the Role

We are hiring a Backend Engineer with 2-3 years of experience who thrives in fast-paced environments, has a strong hold on Spring Boot and Node.js, and enjoys cracking tough bugs as much as shipping clean code. If you also know Python, that’s a big plus. And if you’re a musician or have a deep love for music, you’ll feel right at home with us.

This is an on-site role based in Bangalore—we believe true collaboration and creativity spark best when we build together, in person.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable backend services using Spring Boot and Node.js.
• Rapidly debug and resolve issues across systems and APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and QA to deliver high-impact features.
• Write clean, testable code and document technical decisions.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions to shape the tech roadmap.
• Improve performance, reliability, and monitoring of backend systems.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot and Node.js.
• Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and microservices.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and development workflows.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Python for scripting or backend services.
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of application security and performance tuning.
