Role summary and core responsibilities

Build, operate, and scale backend services that power our SaaS platform and AI features. This on-site night-shift role owns API design, service reliability, and production stability during the 6:00 PM–3:00 AM window.

• Design & implement: Build backend services and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core / .NET 6+.
• Data & storage: Design relational and NoSQL schemas; write and optimize SQL Server queries and stored procedures.
• Microservices & integration: Develop microservices, service-to-service communication, and event-driven components.
• Deployment & automation: Containerize with Docker; contribute to Kubernetes workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Reliability & monitoring: Monitor production, lead incident response and postmortems, and improve observability.
• Quality & collaboration: Write unit/integration tests, perform code reviews, document APIs, and collaborate with frontend, ML, and product teams.

Required and preferred qualifications

Required:

• 2+ years professional experience with C# and .NET Core / .NET 6+.
• Strong experience in RESTful API design, authentication/authorization, and API versioning.
• Proficiency with SQL Server; familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) is a plus.
• Practical experience with microservices, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Comfortable working 6:00 PM–3:00 AM on-site at the Rawalpindi office.
• Strong debugging, performance-profiling, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• Production experience with Kubernetes, observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK), and distributed tracing.
• Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of security best practices and infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM templates).
• Prior experience at a SaaS or AI-focused company.

Compensation, benefits, and working condition

Pay: Rs80,000.00 per month
