Job Title: Backend Engineer (Python + AWS)

About the Role We are seeking a Backend Engineer skilled in Python and AWS serverless technologies to develop scalable APIs and event-driven pipelines for Arrow’s Enterprise applications. This platform processes IoT and telematics data to provide asset visibility, utilization analytics, and downtime alerts.

Key Responsibilities

· Design REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask for assets, telemetry, and alerts. · Develop AWS Lambda functions integrated with API Gateway and EventBridge. · Build event-driven workflows using Step Functions and DynamoDB. · Implement authentication and authorization using AWS Cognito and IAM. · Ensure reliability with DLQs, retries, and idempotency mechanisms. · Implement IaC using Terraform or AWS CDK and CI/CD with GitHub Actions. · Monitor and optimize performance via CloudWatch and X-Ray.

Qualifications

Required: · 4+ years of experience in backend development using Python. · Hands-on with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EventBridge, and CloudWatch. · Solid understanding of RESTful API design and async processing (SQS/SNS/Kinesis). · Experience with testing (pytest) and IaC (Terraform/CDK).

Preferred: Knowledge of IoT Core, Timestream, or Athena. · Experience with Step Functions and serverless event orchestration. · Familiarity with geospatial processing or time-series data.

Soft Skills

· Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. · Excellent communication and documentation habits. · Ability to collaborate across architecture, data, and application teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹2,500,000.00 per year
