Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Backend Lead who can guide a team of backend engineers,

ensure code quality, and contribute hands-on to backend development. The ideal candidate

has strong expertise in PHP and MongoDB and has worked on microservices-based

applications. You will play a key role in managing backend development processes and

delivering reliable, scalable backend services.

Roles & Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

 Lead and mentor backend engineers, ensuring strong coding standards and

development practices.

 Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on efficient backend development.

 Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and high-quality feature delivery.

Backend Development

 Develop and maintain backend services using PHP (Laravel/CodeIgniter).

 Work on building microservices and ensure smooth communication between services.

 Manage data operations and integrations involving MongoDB and MySQL (optional).

 Contribute to complex modules, API development, and backend features.

Performance, Scalability &; Security

 Improve backend performance using caching, queues, and query optimization.

 Ensure secure API development, including authentication, access control, and rate-

limiting.

 Monitor system performance and ensure stability across backend services.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

 Work with product, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to support releases.

 Convert business requirements into clear technical tasks for the team.

 Help troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth backend delivery.

Skills Required:

 You must have 6+ years of backend development experience, primarily with PHP

and MongoDB.

 Strong experience working with microservices.

 Familiarity with Node.js and MySQL is an added advantage.

 Strong understanding of backend development, APIs, and system workflows.

 Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
