Tech Lead

A leading Software house in Lahore is looking for the position of Tech Lead for a brand-new product development division within the established services company. As the Tech Lead, you will be the technical powerhouse of the new product development pod. You’ll partner with a Product Lead to rapidly prototype, architect, and build MVPs using modern cloud-native technologies and AI-assisted development tools. The candidate will design and implement systems, set up scalable architectures, and actively code alongside its team.

Responsibilities:
Own the technical architecture and hands-on development of prototypes and MVPs.
Work closely with the Product Lead to translate product requirements into technical designs.
Build end-to-end solutions, with strong Java backend expertise and working knowledge of ReactJS (or similar front-end frameworks).
Architect and deploy solutions on cloud-native platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Codeium) for faster prototyping and code generation.
Ensure strong engineering practices: code quality, version control, CI/CD pipelines, basic testing automation.
Mentor junior engineers as the team scales.
Balance speed of execution with scalable, maintainable designs.

Requirements:
Strong hands-on expertise in Java backend development.
Experience designing cloud-native architectures (microservices, serverless, APIs, containerization).
Ability to build quick prototypes while keeping scalability in mind.
Familiarity with ReactJS or similar frontend frameworks.
Experience leveraging AI tools for development acceleration.
Ability to create technical documentation and design diagrams independently.
Self-starter attitude with ownership mindset — comfortable working in lean, fast-paced environments.
Exposure to multiple programming languages beyond Java (Python, Node.js, Go, etc.).
DevOps/Infra skills (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions).
Prior startup or 0→1 product experience.
Understanding of security best practices in cloud-native apps.

Salary: 300k to 800k+
