Overview


We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team at Bread, Espresso &, a renowned bakery cafe from Japan . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with a focus on baking and pastry arts. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality baked goods that meet our standards for taste, presentation, and food safety. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in the kitchen.


Job Type


Part-time


Our Baker shift looks like: First baker in at 3:00am in the morning /
Second baker in at 6:00am, and baker work average 5 hours per shift


Duties


  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to established recipes and guidance from the chef.
  • Ensure all food preparation meets safety and quality standards by adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Measure and mix ingredients accurately using appropriate baking techniques.
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and other baking tools safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area, including proper storage of ingredients.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and improve existing ones.
  • Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines in food handling and preparation.


Requirements


Required Experience minimum 2 years or + experience at the bakery that makes bread from scratch.


  • Proven experience in food preparation or cooking within the food industry, with specific experience in baking preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
  • Familiarity with various baking methods and pastry techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Excellent usage of culinary utensils for precise ingredient preparation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
  • A passion for culinary arts and a desire to continually learn and grow within the field.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the business needs.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
