Bakery Assistant

Job Purpose

To support the bakery and viennoiserie team in daily production activities, including basic dough preparation and croissant assistance, while maintaining hygiene, quality, and safety standards. This role is designed for a junior baker learning professional bakery operations under supervision.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Support

• Assist in preparation of bakery and viennoiserie items, including basic bread and croissant doughs
• Support croissant production activities such as dough scaling, shaping, tray setup, proofing, and oven loading under supervision
• Prepare ingredients and mise en place as instructed by senior bakers
• Follow standardized recipes and production instructions

Quality & Hygiene

• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment at all times
• Follow HACCP, food safety, and personal hygiene standards
• Ensure proper storage of ingredients and finished products

Operational Support

• Assist in daily production as per bakery schedule
• Support stock handling, basic inventory rotation (FIFO), and waste reduction
• Comply with kitchen safety procedures and company policies

Teamwork & Learning

• Work cooperatively with bakery and pastry team members
• Take instructions from senior staff and demonstrate willingness to learn
• Accept feedback and apply improvements in daily work

Requirements & Skills

• Basic knowledge of bakery or croissant (viennoiserie) production
• 0–2 years of experience in a bakery, hotel, or professional kitchen
• Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices
• Physically fit to handle bakery tasks (standing, lifting, repetitive work)
• Positive attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn
• Available to Join Immediately, candidates available for In person Interview

Preferred Qualifications

• Culinary or bakery certification (preferred but not mandatory)
• Previous exposure to artisan bakery or viennoiserie operations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED2,700.00 per month
