Role Overview

  • Hanar Restaurant, recognized as a premier destination for Anatolian cuisine, is seeking an enthusiastic Commi Chef-Bakery to join the culinary team. In this onsite position at Hanar Restaurant, you will have a vital role in preparing high-quality baked products, ensuring our guests consistently receive the freshest and finest treats.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and production of a variety of baked goods, following set recipes and techniques.
  • Support senior chefs in baking tasks such as mixing, rolling, shaping dough, and monitoring baking times and temperatures to guarantee optimal results.
  • Organize and store ingredients, ensuring freshness, proper labeling, and compliance with food safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at your workstation, adhering to all hygiene and food safety regulations in the pastry kitchen.
  • Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure efficient service, particularly during high-volume periods.

Must have requirements

  • Previous experience working in a bakery environment or relevant culinary training.
  • Basic knowledge of baking techniques and familiarity with various ingredients.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in presentation and preparation of baked goods.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage time well in a dynamic kitchen environment.
  • Sound organizational skills with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
  • Commitment to maintaining superior standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
  • Flexible availability for shift work, including evenings and weekends as needed.
