Job Title: Bakery / Pastry Chef

Location: AL BANDAR, AL RAHA BEACH, ABU DHABI

Job Summary

The Bakery/Pastry Chef is a skilled culinary professional specializing in the preparation of baked goods and desserts. This role involves crafting a wide variety of pastries, breads, cakes, and sweets, developing new recipes, and ensuring that all products meet high standards of taste, texture, and presentation. The chef also manages inventory, supervises staff, and maintains strict hygiene and safety standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Recipe Creation & Baking

⁠◦ Prepare and bake pastries, breads, cakes, cookies, pies, and other desserts.

⁠◦ Develop and test new recipes to enhance menus and attract customers.

⁠◦ Decorate and present baked goods in visually appealing ways.

• Kitchen & Inventory Management

⁠◦ Operate and oversee the pastry section of the kitchen.

⁠◦ Monitor oven temperatures, baking processes, and adjust as needed.

⁠◦ Order, stock, and inspect ingredients to ensure quality.

⁠◦ Maintain equipment and ensure smooth kitchen operations.

• Customer & Event Engagement

⁠◦ Meet with clients to design custom desserts for special occasions.

⁠◦ Collaborate with other chefs to coordinate menu offerings.

• Team Leadership

⁠◦ Train and mentor junior staff in baking techniques.

⁠◦ Supervise baking personnel to ensure efficiency and consistency.

• Compliance & Safety

⁠◦ Ensure adherence to food hygiene and safety regulations.

⁠◦ Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
