Job Title: Female Banquet Sales Exe/AM, Job Summary
The Banquet Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of banquet, catering, and event space. This role manages client relationships from initial inquiry through event execution, ensuring exceptional service, profitable bookings, and seamless coordination with internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Proactively sell banquet and event spaces to corporate, social, and group clients
- Respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs)
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Conduct site inspections and client presentations
- Negotiate pricing, packages, and contract terms within company guidelines
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process
- Maintain strong relationships with repeat and key accounts
- Handle client feedback, special requests, and resolve issues professionally
Event Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate with banquet operations, culinary, audiovisual, and front office teams
- Ensure accurate communication of event details and requirements
- Attend pre-event meetings and, when required, oversee events on-site
- Ensure events are executed according to contract and brand standards
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate client records and sales data in CRM or sales systems
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and revenue tracking
- Ensure compliance with company policies, billing accuracy, and payment collection
Market Awareness
- Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies
- Participate in networking events, trade shows, and industry meetings
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field (preferred)
- 2–5 years of experience in banquet sales, catering sales, or hospitality sales
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
