Banquet Server

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional service during events and banquets, ensuring that guests have a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for the hospitality industry, with experience in food service and catering.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications and including table settings.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with the bussing of tables, ensuring cleanliness and organization throughout the event.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including food safety practices, to provide accurate information to guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure seamless service during events.
• Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
• Assist with the breakdown of events by clearing tables and cleaning up the banquet area.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a banquet or catering environment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.
