Duties

• Assist bartenders by preparing bar stations, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure smooth service during busy hours
• Support food preparation and food handling tasks, including garnishing drinks and preparing simple snacks or appetizers as needed
• Clean and organize bar areas, including glassware, utensils, and equipment, adhering to health and safety standards
• Buss tables and clear empty dishes to maintain a tidy dining environment for guests
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry, payment processing, and cash handling with accuracy
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring a positive experience
• Assist with catering events or banquet setups when required, supporting the overall hospitality service

Skills

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, food handling, and restaurant operations
• Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality environments such as nightclubs, hotels, or restaurants is advantageous
• Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently while maintaining safety standards
• Knowledge of cashiering procedures including cash handling and credit card transactions
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor
