Bar Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fast paced dining and possess a passion for providing exceptional service. As a Bartender/server, you will be responsible for beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring a memorable experience for all guests.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
• Handle cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
• Assist with catering events as needed, ensuring timely service and presentation of beverages.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
• Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs for reordering.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the food service industry.

Skills

• Proven experience in bartending or related roles within fine dining or nightclub environments.
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage presentation.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS systems or similar point-of-sale technology is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with guests and provide top-notch service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues in the food service industry.
