Bar Staff - KSA

Daily Operations

Create and develop beverages and constantly evolve the menu to remain an industry front-runner.

Constantly review and update beverage prices in order to control costs and to remain competitive amongst competitors.

Manage relationships with suppliers and ensure proper purchasing and receiving as per TLH receiving standards.

Complete monthly stock takes and report any variances to the management.

Eradicate variances by proper monitoring and cost control. To order stock items as required and ensure all delivered items are approved and prices are checked

Monitor stock in lines with set par levels

To check the fridge temperatures daily and ensure that they are in correct range, report any inconsistencies to maintenance immediately.

Plan and implement training session to constantly keep the team up to date and improve overall knowledge, standards and sales.

To communicate effectively amongst the teams to improve levels of service both for our guests and our colleagues.

To be fully conversant with all aspects of the bar’s operational and order of service procedures. To constantly remind the bar team of these procedures to better improve the bar department.

Train both the bar and the restaurant team to improve service standards and menu knowledge. To identify areas of improvement and to set up programs to develop these areas.

Attend all management and organization meetings as requested by the Restaurant Manager. To share any announcements, news or updates from the bar. To acknowledge any changes within the restaurant.

Ensure that the dress code and grooming standards are met and to take disciplinary action where necessary

Work in accordance with legislations relating to equality of opportunity in the workplace. The company will not tolerate discrimination, in any form

To always be vigilant and to try and minimize both customer and staff theft

Ensure that all controls in respect of drink is always adhered to

Ensure compliance with our Liquor license requirements are fulfilled at all times

To ensure that no actions, on the part of either a customer or member of staff, in any way jeopardizes the restaurant’s liquor license

To take responsibility for the security of the restaurants / bar premises and properties

To ensure that impeccable standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the operation and that the bar is kept neat and tidy at all time

Communicate all maintenance requirements of the bar department and its demise
