Bar Waitress

Position Summary:
The Bar Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests in the bar area by taking and serving drink and food orders efficiently and courteously. She ensures that the bar area is clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene and safety standards while creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them in finding seating.
• Present menus, take accurate orders, and relay them promptly to the bar or kitchen.
• Serve beverages and food items according to company standards.
• Ensure all orders are delivered in a timely manner and meet quality expectations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, bar counters, and service areas.
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age when required.
• Handle guest complaints or feedback professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
• Process payments accurately and maintain proper cash handling procedures.
• Support bartenders by replenishing stock, collecting used glassware, and assisting during busy periods.
• Comply with all hotel and local liquor regulations.
• Promote special offers or events happening in the bar.
• Ensure proper grooming and adherence to uniform standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Waitress, preferably in a bar, lounge, or nightclub environment.
• Knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar service standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to handle busy environments.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling.
• Good personal grooming and professional appearance.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and late nights.
• Hospitality background preferred.
