Barber/Stylist

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber(s), Cosmetologist(s), Nail Tech(s), Aesthetician and Massage Therapist(s) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional hair cutting, styling, and grooming services to our diverse clientele. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and technical skills while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all customers. We are a commission based shop, but not oppose to booth rental opportunities.

Duties

• Perform a variety of hair cutting and styling techniques, including barbering and cosmetology services.
• Or provide additional services such as: nail care, skincare, braiding, massage therapy, and straight razor shaves as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to salon hygiene standards.
• Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling and client management.
• Assist with front desk operations, including greeting clients and managing customer inquiries.
• Educate clients on hair care products, color theory, skin and body care, and retail offerings to enhance their experience.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their needs effectively.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology, barbering, nail tech, aesthetic or massage therapy license is required.
• Experience and a clientele is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Familiarity with salon software for managing appointments and client records.
• Knowledge of color theory and retail math to assist in product recommendations.
• Ability to perform straight razor techniques safely and effectively.
• A passion for the beauty industry with a commitment to ongoing education and skill development.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
