The Barista role is central to our commitment to delivering an exceptional coffee experience to our esteemed clientele. Baristas are tasked with educating customers about our diverse drinks’ menu, offering personalized recommendations, and contributing to the overall experience by promoting special items. Success in this position hinges on strong customer service aptitude and a profound understanding of coffee brewing equipment. Additionally, candidates must be adaptable to varying shifts. A prerequisite for this role is either a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or a High School Diploma complemented by another diploma. Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience.

In addition to your education and experience, a strong commitment to excellent customer service, effective communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a bustling restaurant setting are prerequisites for this role. Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to the provided recipes on the menu, strictly following the prescribed measurements in grams, as it not only upholds the standard of culinary excellence and significantly reducing the potential for ingredient wastage, thereby fostering responsible and efficient kitchen management.
  • Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
  • Brew coffee and tea using various methods (espresso machine, pour-over, etc.).
  • Steam and froth milk for lattes, cappuccinos, and other specialty drinks.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of beverages.
  • Keep the bar area clean and well-maintained.
  • Wash and sanitize utensils, equipment, and work areas.
  • Restock coffee beans, milk, and other supplies as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient operations.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines, including food safety regulations.
  • Ensure the proper handling and storage of perishable items.
  • Assist customers in choosing beverages by describing different flavors and characteristics.
  • Address customer concerns and ensure satisfaction.
  • Provide customers with drink menus and answer questions regarding ingredients and options.
  • Take orders with great attention to detail, including preferences for coffee blend, dairy, and sugar ratios.
  • Prepare beverages following established recipes.
  • Regularly inspect and report any maintenance needs related to brewing equipment.
