Barista

Position Summary:

The Barista is responsible for preparing high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Beverage Preparation

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
• Follow standard recipes and maintain consistency
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment

Cleanliness & Maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, equipment, and utensils
• Ensure proper hygiene and sanitation standards
• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed

Customer Service

• Greet customers warmly and take orders
• Handle customer inquiries and provide product recommendations
• Manage billing and cash/POS transactions

Inventory & Operations

• Assist in stock management and daily inventory
• Report shortages or equipment issues to the supervisor
• Follow opening and closing procedures

Qualifications:

• Male or Female
• Previous café or barista experience preferred
• Good communication & customer service skills
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques is an advantage
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Pleasant, professional, and reliable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: KD180.000 - KD200.000 per month
