- Prepare high-quality coffee and espresso-based drinks according to standard recipes.
- Maintain consistency in taste, temperature, and presentation.
- Follow proper brewing, grinding, and extraction techniques.
2. Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly and take orders professionally.
- Handle customer concerns politely and provide product recommendations.
- Ensure a positive and friendly café atmosphere.
3. Cash Handling
- Operate the POS system accurately.
- Process payments, manage receipts, and ensure correct cash transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized cash counter.
4. Store Cleanliness
- Maintain hygiene at the workstation, coffee machine area, and dine-in sections.
- Wash and sanitize equipment, utensils, and tools regularly.
- Follow daily cleaning checklists.
5. Inventory & Stock
- Monitor stock levels for coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients.
- Report shortages to the supervisor.
- Assist in receiving and organizing deliveries.
6. Machine Maintenance
- Clean and backflush the espresso machine daily.
- Calibrate grinders and ensure optimal machine performance.
- Report technical issues immediately.
7. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with other baristas and floor staff.
- Support colleagues during rush hours.
- Maintain good communication during shift transitions.
8. Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on new beverages, seasonal items, and promotions.
- Understand ingredients, origins of coffee beans, and menu details.
9. Speed & Efficiency
- Prepare drinks quickly without compromising quality.
- Manage multiple orders during peak hours efficiently.
10. Safety & Compliance
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Comply with company policies and local health regulations.
