Barista

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to company standards.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations and seating areas.
• Handle cash and card transactions using a POS system.
• Restock inventory such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Upsell products and provide suggestions based on customer preferences.
• Assist in opening and closing duties as required.

Requirements:

• Previous barista or food service experience preferred (but not always required).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of different coffee brewing methods (e.g., pour-over, French press).
• Passion for coffee and customer service.
• Team-player with a positive attitude.
