Barista is an important part of the team. Hospitality, quality, and attention to detail are very important!We are a neighborhood bakery and our guest depend on your ability and personality to make the TLJ experience!

At this moment, we are primarily looking for Barista for CLOSING SHIFTS (2PM-10PM, 3PM-11PM) and OPEN SHIFTS (6AM-2PM, 7AM-3PM) and MID SHIFTS during FRI-SUN.

Barista Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control

• Prepares all drink and food items while maintaining a high level of standard following TLJ product preparation and serving techniques, and recipe and measurement guidelines.

• Maintains the freshness of all TLJ food products by following TLJ product shelf life standards.

• Produces attractive product displays that accurately and elegantly showcase our selection of fresh baked pastries, sandwiches, etc.• High attention to detail

• Follows Department of Health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all foods and beverages (maintains a clean bar and food prep station).Hospitality:

• Acknowledges and greets each customer

• Respects customers by exhibiting a sense of urgency and working quickly with purpose.• Provides a fun and memorable experience for each guest.

• Genuinely thanks each guest and makes eye contact when serving food and drinks.• Contributes to maintaining a positive environment for guests and teamTeamwork:• Communicating effectively, respectfully and professionally with all TLJ team.• Upholds and follows all Handbook guidelines while supporting good morale.

• Possesses a complete understanding of company policies.• Keeps current on and promotes all product information, communications, advertising, promotions, focuses and goals.

• Assists in welcoming and familiarizing new members; models the behavior expected from fellow members, while continuing to promote the customs and principles of TLJ.

• Arrives to work punctually, following proper uniform and personal hygiene guidelines.
