Barista

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the café, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including dining areas, workstations, and equipment.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures during food preparation and service.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours while managing time effectively.

Skills

• Previous barista experience or coffee experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for guests.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation techniques in the food industry.
