Kenly 95 Petro is excited to announce the upcoming grand opening of Starbucks, and we’re looking for motivated, energetic, and customer-first team members to join us. Whether you’re an experienced barista or brand new to coffee, we’ll train you to deliver the high-quality service Starbucks is known for—all while working in the heart of one of the busiest travel centers in North Carolina.

As a Barista at the brand-new Starbucks located inside Kenly 95 Petro, you’ll be one of the first faces our guests see and the person who helps start their day—or road trip—off right. You'll be responsible for creating handcrafted beverages and providing legendary customer service in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment. We’re looking for dependable, energetic, and customer-focused individuals to join our opening team and help shape the store from day one.

Requirements:

• Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product recommendations
• Prepare quality handcrafted beverages and food items to Starbucks standards
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) register, handle cash, and process transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace, and follow sanitation and safety protocols
• Replenish supplies, rotate stock, and assist with store setup and closing
• Engage with guests and team members in a respectful, inclusive, and friendly manner
• Uphold Starbucks core values and Kenly 95’s customer service expectations
• Work as part of a collaborative team, take direction, and support others as needed

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new routines and systems
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or retail is a plus but not required. Paid training will be provided.

Work Schedule:

• Shifts may fall between 6 AM – 5 PM, 7 days a week
• Flexible scheduling available; weekends and holidays may be required
• Both full-time and part-time roles open
