Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures with accuracy and integrity
• Follow food safety standards and proper food handling protocols to ensure quality and safety
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies, monitoring product freshness, and communicating stock needs

Requirements

• Prior barista experience AT LEAST 1 YEAR or background in food service is preferred; enthusiasm for coffee culture is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining quality service
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction processing
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced café environment
• Reliable team player with good communication skills and attention to detail
