Barista

A Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee and other beverages while delivering excellent customer service in a café or restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve coffee drinks (espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc.) to standard recipes

Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely

Take customer orders accurately and handle payments

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace and seating area

Ensure high standards of hygiene and food safety

Restock ingredients (coffee beans, milk, syrups, pastries)

Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner

Handle customer complaints or requests efficiently

Follow company procedures and opening/closing duties

Skills Required for a Barista

Technical Skills

Knowledge of coffee types and brewing methods

Ability to operate espresso machines and grinders

Basic food safety and hygiene knowledge

Cash handling and POS system experience

Soft Skills

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Friendly, positive attitude and teamwork

Ability to work under pressure in busy environments

Attention to detail and consistency in drink preparation

Time management and multitasking Physical & Personal Attributes

Ability to stand for long hours

Quick learner with adaptability

Clean and professional appearance

Reliability and punctuality

Optional / Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience as a barista or in food & beverage

Knowledge of latte art

Understanding of specialty coffee

Doha based candidates

Salary can be discussed in the interview

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,200.00 per month
