Position Summary:
A barista prepares and serves coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages while providing excellent customer service in a café or coffee shop setting. The role involves operating coffee machines, maintaining a clean workspace, handling cash or card payments, and ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
  • Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks (coffee, espresso, teas, smoothies, etc.).
  • Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment.
  • Keep the café area clean and well-stocked (cups, beans, syrups, milk, etc.).
  • Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistent quality.
  • Educate customers on menu items, beans, brewing methods, and promotions.
  • Handle cash drawer, process transactions, and maintain accuracy.
  • Comply with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Support team members and assist with restocking or cleaning during downtime.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math and cash-handling accuracy.
  • Attention to detail and presentation.
  • Prior experience in food service or coffee preparation (preferred but not always required).
  • Flexibility for shifts on weekends or mornings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR5,000.00 per month
