Barista

We’re a small neighborhood shop with a loyal regular crowd, great energy, and a team-first culture. We’re looking for an experienced barista who loves coffee and is happy to jump in wherever needed. In a small shop, everyone helps with everything — from espresso drinks to sandwiches to scooping ice cream to keeping the place running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous barista experience required
• Confident on espresso machines, milk steaming, drink quality, and working efficiently during rushes
• Friendly, warm personality with strong customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Comfortable learning all areas of the shop and pitching in wherever needed
• Enjoys getting to know regulars and building community
• LGBTQ+ affirming and committed to creating an inclusive, respectful environment for customers and coworkers
• Able to multitask, stay organized, and keep calm under pressure

Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages with consistency
• Assist with sandwich prep and food service
• Scoop and serve ice cream
• Greet customers and provide excellent service across all areas of the shop
• Handle register/POS transactions accurately
• Keep the shop clean, stocked, and welcoming
• Opening and/or closing duties depending on shift
