Job Summary
Prepare high-quality coffee and beverages, deliver excellent customer service, and maintain a clean, organized workstation. Ensure guests receive consistent specialty coffee and a welcoming café experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoffee & Beverage Preparation
- Prepare espresso-based drinks following café recipes.
- Operate espresso machine, grinder, and other coffee equipment.
- Maintain consistency in coffee taste, texture, and presentation.
- Prepare non-coffee beverages like teas, smoothies, juices, etc.
- Calibrate grinders daily for optimal extraction.
Customer Service
- Greet customers and take beverage orders clearly and accurately.
- Offer recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Handle guest feedback politely and professionally.
Workstation & Café Maintenance
- Keep the bar area clean, stocked, and organized at all times.
- Clean and backflush the espresso machine daily.
- Maintain utensils, milk jugs, cups, syrups, and coffee beans stock.
- Follow opening and closing checklists for the coffee bar.
Operational Duties
- Assist in setting up café items (pastries, display counter).
- Support waiters during busy periods.
- Handle takeaway and dine-in beverage orders efficiently.
- Follow café SOPs for beverage preparation and service.
- Hygiene & Safety
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain personal grooming standards.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of coffee beans and milk.
Cash & POS Handling
- Process orders through POS accurately.
- Handle cash/card transactions responsibly when needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista (specialty café experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art basics.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive and friendly attitude.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
