We are building a passionate, detail-driven team for our new artisanal bakery café opening July 1st. At Meerana Patisserie, we focus on quality, creativity, and creating a warm experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

We are currently hiring for the following roles:

- Head Barista (Master Barista)

Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years

Role Overview

The Head Barista will lead the coffee program and ensure consistency, quality, and excellence in every cup served. This role is both operational and leadership-focused.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and train the barista team
• Maintain high standards in coffee preparation and presentation
• Calibrate espresso machines and grinders daily and monthly
• Develop drink recipes (coffee, matcha, hot chocolate, seasonal drinks)
• Ensure consistency across all shifts
• Monitor stock levels and order coffee-related supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Support in setting up workflows and bar efficiency

- Barista

Experience Required: Minimum 3 Years

Role Overview

As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages while maintaining speed, consistency, and a welcoming customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee, matcha, and specialty drinks to standard
• Operate espresso machines and grinders efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of the workstation
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Ensure consistency in taste and presentation
• Support team during busy hours

- Barista / Cashier / Service Staff

Experience Required: Minimum 1 Year

Role Overview

This is a multi-role position combining beverage preparation, cashier handling, and customer service on seperate days. You will be part of the front-of-house experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Take customer orders and handle payments
• Prepare basic drinks and assist baristas when needed
• Serve customers and maintain a welcoming environment
• Keep display and service areas clean and organized
• Assist with packaging and order handovers
