We are seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Duties

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, and seating areas to provide a welcoming atmosphere.
• Engage with customers to take orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing the cash register.
• Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure the health and safety of our customers.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient operations during peak hours while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on coffee trends and menu offerings to enhance customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work Saturdays; 7am to 2 pm
• Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive interactions with customers.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food preparation techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage recipes.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for this role.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
