Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly, attentive service.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety standards.
• Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for transactions.
• Assist in food preparation and serving food items according to safety guidelines.
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
• Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.

Experience

• Previous barista experience or background working in a café or food service environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests.
• Proven ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy are essential.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures, serving standards, and food safety regulations is a plus.
