Barista

We are looking for energetic people, who are excited to join our Bakery & Café team.

We are looking for a time commitment of at least 20-25 hours per week.

✔ Customer service and / or food handling experience preferred.

✔ Previous barista experience is ideal. Training on our equipment, processes, and any refresher training needed will be provided.

✔ Must be passionate about coffee and interested in improving their skills.

✔ Basic Coffee Knowledge, Latte Art, Milk steaming, Grinding, and brewing are a bonus.

Should have an ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment, be flexible, learn quickly, and be open to input.

Open to being cross-trained in other areas of the bakery to help during slower shifts.

Previous experience in commercial kitchen is optimal. Additional hours may be available to help with bakery prep. (Scaling/Mixing recipes, portioning cookies, muffins, scones, etc.)

Assist in keeping cleanliness standards in front and back of the store (i.e., wiping counters, sweeping/mopping floors, washing utensils, etc.).

The perfect candidate will deliver excellent guest service experience at all times. This position requires constant standing, walking and bending, and the ability to lift and/or carry up to 35 pounds without assistance.

Basic math skills are required.

Schedule:

Day shift: Monday to Friday with Saturday (you must be available to work Saturdays).

Shop Hours are 7am-2pm M-F, 8am-2pm Sat. No late nights!

Some bank holidays to be determined (We will be closed Christmas Day, New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day.)
