About Us: Home Away Coffee is a specialty coffee shop located in the RiNo neighborhood of Denver.

Position Overview: We’re looking for an experienced barista to join our expanding team of 6 Baristas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft consistently great espresso, coffee, and tea based drinks.
• Collaborate with the owner to influence store vibes, playlists, and daily flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cafe space, equipment, and utensils.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory management.
• Take customer orders accurately and handle POS transactions.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Restock supplies, ingredients, and retail items as needed throughout the shift
• Uphold brand standards for drink quality, presentation, and customer experience.
• Stay knowledgeable about menu items, seasonal offerings, and ingredients.
• Provide exceptional customer service with a warm, friendly attitude.

Requirements:

• Specialty coffee experience is required.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with food handling procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills.
