Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly, efficient service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas
• Handle cash register transactions using POS systems, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering procedures
• Follow food safety standards and food handling protocols to ensure high-quality service and safety compliance
• Assist with food preparation tasks, including assembling snacks or light food items as needed
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in the food service industry with strong coffee knowledge
• Familiarity with POS systems for efficient sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail
