Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly, attentive service
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling duties with integrity and accuracy
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high standards of service

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for coffee culture is essential
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and POS transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation practices
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and lift moderate loads comfortably

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
