The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving premium coffee, specialty beverages, and refreshments while delivering exceptional customer service in accordance with the standards of a luxury French café and restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, and specialty drinks to brand standards.
- Ensure consistency in beverage quality, presentation, and taste.
- Provide professional, personalized, and attentive service to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and equipment.
- Operate POS systems and process customer orders accurately.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control and replenishment.
- Comply with food safety, hygiene, and company policies.
- Promote menu items and upsell products where appropriate.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Barista in a luxury café, premium restaurant, or 4/5-star hotel.
- Knowledge of espresso preparation, coffee brewing techniques, and latte art.
- Good command of English, Arabic is an advantage.
