Barista Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coffee preparation and a commitment to maintaining food safety standards while creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate the POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and handling.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, pastries, and other supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
• Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining high-quality service.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
• Experience in food preparation or food service within the café or retail industry is advantageous.
