Barista/ Front of House

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include managing the customer experience, handling transactions, and assisting with food and beverage preparation. Ideal candidates should possess a passion for customer service and a strong background in the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
• Operate Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
• Engage with customers to promote menu items, upsell products, and handle any inquiries or complaints effectively.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control during food preparation.
• Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or food service roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for cashiering duties and retail math applications.
• Experience as a barista or in coffee preparation is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential.
• Ability to work well within a team while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.

Pay: $15.92 - $18.00 per hour
