Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Greet customers warmly, taking their orders accurately while providing friendly, attentive service
• Operate POS systems such as Toast POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety practices
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations
• Assist with food preparation and serving of light snacks or baked goods as needed
• Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in the food service industry with a focus on coffee preparation
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for efficient transactions
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods seamlessly
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales reconciliation
• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a team environment
