Barista/Bartender

The Elixir is a unique neighborhood gathering space blending espresso, cocktails, cozy atmosphere, and community energy. We’re building something special in Old Louisville—a welcoming, creative space where people come to connect, relax, and enjoy quality drinks in a one-of-a-kind setting.

We’re looking for dependable, upbeat, kind humans who enjoy people, stay calm under pressure, and take pride in creating a great guest experience.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare espresso drinks, cocktails, beer, and wine
• Welcome guests warmly and create a memorable experience
• Keep bar and workspace clean, stocked, and organized
• Handle cash/POS transactions accurately
• Help maintain a positive, drama-free team culture
• Follow alcohol service laws and ID procedures
• Assist with opening/closing duties
• Occasionally support special events and themed nights

What We’re Looking For

• Friendly, confident, and professional personality
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Able to multitask during busy rushes
• Comfortable learning both espresso and bar service
• Strong communication skills
• Honest, respectful, and team-oriented
• Must be 21+ for alcohol service
• Bartending, barista, or hospitality experience preferred (but personality + work ethic matter most)

Pay: From $7.25 per hour
