Key Responsibilities – Bartender
Drink Preparation & Service
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and portion control of all drinks.
Suggest drinks to guests based on their preferences and promote signature cocktails.
Guest Interaction & Service Excellence
Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to all guests.
Maintain a welcoming atmosphere at the bar and ensure guest satisfaction.
Handle guest complaints or special requests politely and efficiently.
Bar Operations & Cleanliness
Set up and close the bar according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of bar counters, equipment, and utensils.
Ensure proper stock rotation and storage of all beverages and garnishes.
Inventory & Cash Handling
Monitor and control inventory of beverages, glassware, and bar supplies.
Record sales accurately and handle cash, credit cards, or room charges responsibly.
Report shortages, breakages, or discrepancies to management.
Compliance & Safety
Adhere to local alcohol laws and company safety regulations.
Check guest IDs to verify legal drinking age when necessary.
Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
Teamwork & Communication
Coordinate with waitstaff and kitchen for smooth service.
Attend daily briefings and participate in staff training sessions.
Support colleagues during peak hours to maintain efficiency.
