Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring a positive experience.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, billing, and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while balancing registers at the end of shifts.
- Assist in setting up for events like banquets or catering functions, ensuring all beverage needs are met seamlessly.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightlife or nightclub settings, while responding promptly to any concerns or incidents.
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods without compromising quality.
- Excellent customer service abilities to connect with diverse guests in various hospitality settings.
- Experience in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math calculations, and billing procedures.
- Familiarity with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations; experience with brewing or food industry knowledge is a plus.
