Crank Arm Brewing is an established and revered local brewery in our 13th year of operation! We are hiring for our taproom in Downtown Durham, NC!

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartenders to join our team. As a Crank Arm Brewing team member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests. You will prepare and serve a variety of beverages, take orders, and handle cash transactions.

Duties:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences

- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences

- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their satisfaction

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glasses, utensils, and bar equipment

- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations

- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system

- Assist with offsite events as needed.

- Cash accountability

Skills: - Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere - Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixing techniques - Familiarity with cash register or POS systems - Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating tips - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively - Previous experience in bartending or the food industry is preferred - Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus
