Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Operate POS systems efficiently to process orders, handle cash, credit card transactions, and manage tabs accurately.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience.
  • Provide recommendations and answering questions about drinks or menu items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and food handling regulations at all times.
  • Manage time effectively during busy shifts by prioritizing orders, restocking supplies, and coordinating with kitchen staff for seamless service.
  • Uphold responsible alcohol service practices by monitoring guest consumption and preventing over-serving.
  • Assist with catering events, banquets, and special functions by setting up bar stations, serving drinks efficiently, and managing cash handling procedures.
  • Be knowledgeable about food and beverage options and present them in an informational, friendly, and enthusiastic manner
  • Inform guests of specials and/or promotions, answer questions pertaining to the food and beverage menus, and be prepared to make suggestions

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • 1-2 years experience preferred, but will train
  • Must be able to obtain DE ABC Certification
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is essential for efficient order processing.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously through excellent time management skills.
  • Strong customer service background with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
  • Experience serving in banquet settings or catering events is a plus.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order tallying are required.

We are a newly opened beachfront restaurant specializing in elevated coastal cuisine. We have a strong emphasis on positive work environment. Our Chef works closely with local farmers and vendors to ensure that our menu always highlights what's fresh, local and in-season.

Our location includes indoor and outdoor dining as well as several large event spaces, all of which are open year round, and pose endless opportunities for growth and advancement.
