Bartender

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order entry, billing, and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and prevent over-serving or intoxication.
• Assist with food service when needed, including serving food items at bars or tables during events like banquets or catering functions.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for change, and reconcile cash drawers at shift end.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights at nightclubs or large events like weddings or corporate functions.

Experience

• Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders efficiently.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Experience in retail math, cashiering, catering, or food industry roles that demonstrate solid math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining quality service standards.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.91 - $25.19 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
