Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order entry, billing, and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and prevent over-serving or intoxication.
- Assist with food service when needed, including serving food items at bars or tables during events like banquets or catering functions.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for change, and reconcile cash drawers at shift end.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights at nightclubs or large events like weddings or corporate functions.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Experience in retail math, cashiering, catering, or food industry roles that demonstrate solid math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining quality service standards.
