Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that every guest has an unforgettable experience. You will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
• Operate POS systems such as Spot On POS and Toast POS for order entry and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
• Manage inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, including banquets and catering events.
• Demonstrate knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation to enhance guest experience.

Experience

• Previous bartending experience in a fine dining or nightclub setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with food service operations, including food safety practices and customer service excellence.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales transactions.
• Experience with retail math is a plus; ability to manage inventory effectively is essential.
